Our Story
My journey began when I came to the United States from New Zealand on a soccer scholarship. During the summers, I worked for moving companies across Dallas, Texas, where I developed a passion for the industry and the people I met along the way.
After transferring to a school in Arizona, I found myself with very little money, no housing, and no safety net. Rather than wait for an opportunity, I decided to create one. With a small pickup truck, my girlfriend, and our dog by my side, I started what would eventually become Wild West Moving.
The early days weren't easy. We were lucky to book one move a week, and I learned many lessons the hard way through difficult experiences with customers, employees, and trucks breaking down. More than once, I considered giving up. Instead, I committed fully to the business and focused all my energy on building something great.
That decision changed everything. Within months, we were busy every day and growing rapidly. While still in college, I was able to build a trusted team and create jobs for others.
Today, two years later, Wild West Moving is a fully licensed and insured company operating a fleet of trucks, including a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate. Our goal is simple: provide exceptional service, create opportunities for good people, and build a company Arizona can trust.
